Fruitarian Athlete Benefits Compared to Other DietsFruitarian athletes recover faster and more efficiently from athletic and fitness training that places high amounts of stress on the body. To stay on top of their game, professional athletes must have perfect nutrition, and consume large amounts of carbohydrates to fuel their muscles, adequate amounts of healthy protein to repair their tissues, minimal amounts of fats for hormone and cellular regulation, and large amounts of antioxidants to neutralize acids and wastes that are formed as byproducts from exercising.

Vegan diets, high in antioxidants, and fruitarian diets, extremely alkalizing, have added benefits of neutralizing acidic waste in the body. Fruitarian athletes have a noticeable advantage over other athletes in recovery and injury prevention. This is because animal products are extremely acidic and contain almost no antioxidants at all, while plant-based foods contain 100 times more antioxidants than animal foods.

Fruitarians also benefit from higher energy levels because the carbohydrates in fruit are superior to any other form of energy consumed by humans. Fruit contains fructose, a simple sugar that requires minimal digestion and is easily absorbed into the body. Fruitarian athletes have outperformed their rivals on their respective sports, for example, Michael Arnstein, a fruitarian runner who has competed in dozens of ultra-marathons, winning many of them.

Fruitarian athletes are less likely to suffer from kidney and heart failure because diets high in protein and animal products lead to such illnesses. Healthy organ function is essential for any athlete, and athletes are at high risk due to the stress they put on their bodies.

Fruitarian athletes are likely to be leaner because they consume fewer fats and proteins. The fact is that fat is stored in many places around the body, and a diet high in fat and proteins is more likely to lead to weight gain than a diet high in fruits. People who tried the fruitarian diet, including the author of this article, lost weight and kept all their muscle mass.

In conclusion, a fruitarian athlete has an advantage in recovery and injury prevention, higher energy levels, less risk of kidney and heart failure, and is likely to be leaner. A fruitarian diet can benefit not only athletes but anyone interested in having good health.
