It is 9 a.m., I just got back home to Gaia Yoga Gardens in Hawaii. Last night I went to a party in the jungle that lasted all night through the morning. I haven’t slept yet, so technically I am writing yesterday’s fruitarian blog. It is worthy of a start for my Fruitarian Bodybuilding Athlete Challenge. Other than that, I slept plenty, but that is about it. I wasn’t fully fruitarian and I didn’t do my exercise, I also forgot to that a pic. Two stars for the day.
I am really passing out as I type this so I will keep this short.
The End
ZZZZZZ….
Ok, ok, I am going to tell you more about the night:
My First Real Party in Hawaii
A handful of weeks ago I sneaked into an event called Flow Fest in the Big Island of Hawaii. It was a small festival in the Puna side that I had heard of but had not dared to spend money on. This is why I didn’t buy a ticket. However, the day of the festival, my friend and I decided to walk and sneak in and we actually succeeded! It was super easy, we just walked in through the front like we owned the place.
After walking around for 10 minutes we started to feel guilty so we turned around and walked out of the festival. Once outside we met with Jesse and Jason, a couple of traveling kids who had landed at the Kanekiki Farm when they first arrived to Hawaii. They mentioned that they were staying at an awesome farm in the area and they put us in contact with Tesha, the owner of the farm.
I was hoping to move there soon but Tesha never responded to my calls or texts so I moved to Gaia Yoga Gardens instead. However, one day, walking on the road, I called Tesha and she answered. This is how she ended up inviting me to this party which I attended.
Working Our Right to Get In
I didn’t know what to expect about this “party”. I invited Jake and Ray to come with me and on our way there we experienced a ton of synchronicities. We barely had to do any walking and as soon as we arrived we met Sunshine, a girl who had been at the Kanekiki Farm for the past month. She walked us in through the property gate and showed us some newly built structures and all the places where people were gathering. Since it was 420, and I had been thinking about weed since I left the Kanekiki Farm, I decided to take a couple of tokes to celebrate and open up to new experiences. It was great. No regrets.
After that we spent an hour in the soon to be dance floor until Tesha came over to tell us that we had to pay for our entrance. We told her we didn’t have any money and that we didn’t know we had to pay. To make a long story short, I handled the situation like a champ. She ended up giving us some machetes and we worked our way into the party by clearing a bunch of cane grass to make room for parking. We did an awesome job.
After that, we all ate some fruit and then went to dance, watch some fire-spinners and mingle around with beautiful people. I ended up learning a ton, about myself and my relationships with people. The only downside to the night was how unprepared I was, I hadn’t even brought a shirt with me. I spent the night feeling very cold, I learned from that too.
