Here we are on day #4 of my Fruitarian Bodybuilding Athlete Challenge. Right now is 4 p.m. and I just returned to the Kanekiki Farm after an hour long walk with Destiny.
Looking for Alternatives to the Kanekiki Farm
Today was a slow day. I woke up around 7 a.m., took care of building the fire and helped organize our food order delivery. Other than that, I spent the rest of the day looking for new places to live. I still haven’t received any information about my future at the Kanekiki Farm and I do not feel comfortable waiting for the owners to make a decision for me. This is why I have been looking for another raw vegan community in Hawaii but unfortunately there seems to be none.
There are, however, some vegan farms and other farms where they eat partially raw, or totally raw but none vegan (such as Gaya Yoga Gardens). I also started to look for farms and communities in Maui and Kauai but I haven’t found anything as good or better than the Kanekiki Farm.
I must be really honest, I have seriously loved my time at the Kanekiki Farm, it has been a wonderful experience and I certainly don’t regret it. Kanekiki has provided a space for me to follow a strict raw vegan diet, practice fruitarianism and most importantly, feel as free as I ever have for the longest period of time. Nowhere else before have I felt comfortable walking around on my boxers, day after day, being my silly self while others love and respect me. Kanekiki is truly great and full of wonder.
That being said, it looks like my time here is coming to an end and I must accept the waves of destiny and give into the flow. I know more opportunities are being created every moment, the right one for me is well on its way.
Today’s Fruitarian Bodybuilding Challenge Report
My hour long walk with Destiny was quite enjoyable but it wasn’t long enough to earn me a star. Luckily, I did sleep my 8 hours, wrote this blog, ate a fully fruitarian diet for the day (papayas, oranges and avocados) and took a picture to add four full stars. I am back in the game! =D
I must admit that I don’t look so great in many of these fruitarian before and after pictures, but I am proud that I am building a collection and I am glad that I have a fair amount of photos to show my humble beginnings as a fruitarian bodybuilder. I trust that, if I remain on this Fruitarian Bodybuilding Athlete Challenge, and actually start to exercise hard, I will be able to show some impressive results. We will see.
