Week 10 of my Fruitarian Diet / Fruit Based Diet.
It has been almost two months since I decided to go from a vegan diet to a fruit based diet. I could have spent more time following the raw vegan diet but fruitarianism caught my attention and I never went back.
The first month eating fruit was quite exciting but the next month has been painful. I have experienced a ton a detox symptoms and I have struggled to understand the cause of my pain. This has lead me to feel cravings for cooked foods. It is also harder to be a fruitarian in winter.
Regarding my rash, I went to see a dermatologist who suggested a bunch of reasons to my rash. She gave me a cream and the itch went away. This is till confusing but I am glad something is working.
My diet right now is not an all fruit diet. I am still eating some cooked foods, especially in the evening. I guess you could say my diet is more like a raw until four, or a high fruit diet. Unfortunately, over the past few days, I have been over eating a ton too. The vegan restaurants I have gone to have been too good.
At the end of the day, I love experimenting with fruit diets and I like the idea that humans are frugivores. It just makes sense to me.
