Read “My Plans for the Future” in my new website:
Give Fruit a Chance
My nutritional approaches have morphed over the last handful of years, but there seems to be an underling thread. I’ve done my best to follow a strict raw vegan and fruit based diet. For the most part, this has been a huge success. My fruits and vegetable consumption is way higher than most people, I rarely consume any animal products, and the few cooked meals I have are almost always made at home with fresh and organic ingredients.
Living in the tropics was a blessing and I look forward to living there again. Few things come close to the joy of living in nature, feeding from fruit freshly picked from the tree. That is obviously the preferred setting to follow a raw vegan and fruit based diet. That being said, It’s also possible to follow these types of diets living outside the tropics. We just need to educate ourselves.
I plan on eating a raw vegan and fruit-based diet for as long as it feels right. This pattern may last a lifetime, or another month, nobody knows. What I do know is that I love eating fruit, and from my current perspective, I see raw vegan and fruit-based diets as one of the best choices we can make for ourselves, each other, and the environment.
I believe that raw vegan and fruit-based diets can propel humanity into new levels of health and sustainability. I know it is possible to thrive on raw fruits, as long as we also take care of other areas of our lives, such as our mental, emotional, social, financial and spiritual health.
I will continue to explore the world of fruitarianism, and perhaps inspire some of you to Give Fruit a Chance. I know our collective knowledge and experience will lead us into greater harmony and peace.
