Over the past five years I have been learning about nutrition and the last seven months have been especially intense as I become a fruitarian. As my evolution progresses, I ponder on my choices, which are based on my perception of what is real.
The world of nutrition is filled with a wide variety of characters, from doctors to athletes, from scientists to young YouTubers like me. In the age of information, it is hard to know what is factual and what is false. That being said, it is likely that at any point, our perspective on what is true will be one of four different possibilities.
The Four Perspectives on Truth:
1st Point of View: Thinking that we know.
There is many of us who live constantly in this realm. We think that we know, and there is no doubt at all. When I say that I exist, I am taking this point of view. Many times we approach this point of view after looking at trust worthy data, or simply talking directly to a trusted source of information, like Wikipedia :p
From my perspective, there is no truth in this universe that can not be debated. I strongly believe, that there will always be disagreement in every single topic possible.
2nd Point of View: Thinking that we don’t know.
Sometimes we think we don’t know something and that others know better than us. We might be right or we might be wrong, but the position here is “I know that I don’t know” which is similar to the first point of view, except that this is taken from a negative perspective.
3nd Point of View: Not knowing.
Here we don’t know if we are right or if others are right. We know that we are confused, uncertain and unsatisfied with the information that we are receiving. Here we accept that we don’t have any truth.
4th Point of View: The truth is relative.
This could mean that truth is relative and some things can be partially true. It could also mean that we create the universe with our own beliefs. In other words, whatever we believe, that is the truth. Theories of multi-verses can base themselves in this perspective.
