It is almost 10 p.m., time to sleep.
I don’t want to make this blog too long. I don’t have much to say other than the fact that I am happy that the Kanekiki Farm offers excellent raw vegan community support.
Less Energy and More Resolution at the Kanekiki Farm
Today I woke up pretty early. I had enough time to walk to the Kanekiki community room. I practiced some yoga and stretched before work.
I also had a few papayas and a few bananas before our morning meeting. The last few days I have been feeling tired during work and I wanted to test if eating before would give me more energy. It seemed to work a bit but I still don’t think I have as much energy as I had when I arrived to the Kanekiki farm.
I have no doubt that the raw vegan fruitarian diet works. I just haven’t practiced correctly yet or had enough time to adjust. I am still overeating, eating too much fat, not sleeping enough and not taking care of my energy and my time.
Our job today was to dig a trench. It took us an hour and a half digging and cutting roots. The last thirty minutes turned into a full hour of harvesting a fruit which name I do not know. The fruit tree was on the edge of the Kanekiki farm, in an area I have never been to before.
During our work session I got to talk to Nick about some issues we both have been experiencing at the Kanekiki farm. It was great to connect with him in that way. We both learned a lot and managed to develop a deeper friendship. I am very glad we had those conversations.
Raw Vegan Community Support at the Kanekiki Farm
After work I had a bowl full of oranges, then I uploaded some blogs. At 12 p.m. we had our raw vegan support meeting where we talked about people’s reasons to be raw, struggles and advice on how to stay on the raw vegan path.
After our meeting I had another smoothie of papayas, then I went on a walk with Jake and Ray. I tried to run for a bit but I was too full on papayas. On our way back to the Kanekiki farm I made a simple salad: Cucumbers, tomatoes, red cabbage, avocado and half a lemon.
During dinner I talked to Jake, Ray and Barb about some ideas we have to improve the community at the Kanekiki farm.
That is all I have to share for now.
