After watching this video by Mark Tassi I decided to share my notes and commentary on some of the things he said. I certainly know that a fruit diet can be ridiculed by many people, that being said, I find it very important to do as Mark says and “demonstrate the lifestyle”. For me, this is still a new arena but those who have more years on the fruitarian diet can certainly show some results.
According to Mark, the proof is in the pudding. He compares his health as a fruitarian and a practitioner of fasting and intermittent fasting with the health of his peers, some of which are still eating a standard american diet. This is why it is important to be careful of who we listen to and who’s advice we take. Different people will push us to eat, drink and do things that we don’t want and/or are not good for us. It is important that we do our research to know right from wrong, and that we practice connection with our inner being so we can listen to the guidance from within.
Like Mark says, “don’t let them take your vitality”. This consumerist society is all about buying and selling (and I surely include myself in it). This is why we must find out, for ourselves and by ourselves, weather something is good for us or not. We must follow the money and follow the history, listening to all stories, mainstream and untold.
It is time we give fruit a chance and allow nature to take care of us by feeding us the most evolved plant’s fruits. Society will, sooner or later, catch up to the truth, the excitement and excitement of a fruit diet. Quickly taking us to a world with less violence towards animals, plants, humans and ultimately, ourselves.
If you want to learn more about the fruit diet take a look at some of the books bellow, they are the best ones I have found on the fruitarian diet.
